  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; prohibiting registration of 
  1.3             certain fertilizers; amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, 
  1.4             section 18C.401, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 18C.401, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 5.  [FERTILIZER CONTAINING ARSENIC.] The commissioner 
  1.9   may not license or register for sale or use in Minnesota any 
  1.10  fertilizer containing more than 500 parts per million by weight 
  1.11  of arsenic.
