  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; providing for 
  1.3             evaluation of construction aggregate located on state 
  1.4             trust lands; appropriating money; amending Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 2002, section 16A.125, by adding a 
  1.6             subdivision. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 16A.125, is 
  1.9   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 11.  [APPROPRIATION TO EVALUATE CONSTRUCTION 
  1.11  AGGREGATE POTENTIAL.] $50,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 
  1.12  2005 from money accruing and credited to the forest suspense 
  1.13  account to the Division of Lands and Minerals in the Department 
  1.14  of Natural Resources to identify, evaluate, and lease 
  1.15  construction aggregates located on state trust lands.  The 
  1.16  appropriation is supervised and controlled by the commissioner 
  1.17  of natural resources and remains available until October 30, 
  1.18  2005. 
  1.19     This program has a budget base of $50,000 for fiscal years 
  1.20  2006 and 2007 only.
