  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             improvements to the Shellrock River watershed; 
  1.4             authorizing the sale of state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SHELLROCK RIVER APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] (a) $....... is 
  1.8   appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of 
  1.9   natural resources to replace the dam on the Shellrock River at 
  1.10  Albert Lea Lake. 
  1.11     (b) $....... is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.12  the Board of Water and Soil Resources for a grant to the 
  1.13  Shellrock River Watershed District to make capital improvements 
  1.14  affecting water quality within the watershed district. 
  1.15     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.16  this section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.17  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.18  to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.19  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.20  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
