  1.3             District No. 138, North Branch, to start the 2004-2005 
  1.4             school year before September 1. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SCHOOL YEAR START DATE; NORTH BRANCH.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120A.40, for 
  1.8   the 2004-2005 school year, Independent School District No. 138, 
  1.9   North Branch, may begin the school year on August 30, 2004, to 
  1.10  accommodate the district facility work.
