  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying certain angling 
  1.3             seasons. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FISHING SEASON FOR 1999-2000.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 97C.345, 
  1.7   subdivisions 1 and 2, 97C.371, subdivision 4, and 97C.395, 
  1.8   subdivision 1, for the 1999-2000 fishing season, the open 
  1.9   angling season for walleye, sauger, northern pike, muskellunge, 
  1.10  largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass, and the 1999-2000 spearing 
  1.11  season for roughfish, catfish, lake whitefish, and northern pike 
  1.12  is the Saturday two weeks prior to the Saturday of Memorial Day 
  1.13  weekend 1999 to February 29, 2000. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
