A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a veterans memorial in
Steele County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin VETERANS MEMORIAL; STEELE COUNTY.

$50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of veterans affairs
for one or more grants to Steele County and the Moonlighters Exchange Club to design and
construct a veterans memorial at the Steele County Fairgrounds Park. This appropriation is
onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642.
