relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a hospital in Wabasha.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin WABASHA; ST. ELIZABETH'S HOSPITAL.

new text begin $6,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of health for a grant to St. Elizabeth's Hospital of Wabasha in the city of Wabasha to design,
construct, furnish, and equip an expansion of the hospital and pharmacy building to include
a cardiac rehabilitation center. This appropriation is not available until at least an equal
amount is committed to the project from nonstate sources. This appropriation is onetime
and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
