A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money for a realignment of County Road
19A and 100th Street South in the city of Cottage Grove.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $10,500,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of Cottage Grove for predesign, design, right-of-way
acquisition, and construction of (1) a realignment of County Road 19A and 100th Street
South and (2) a connection between the newly realigned 100th Street South and U.S. Highway
10. This project includes construction of a bridge over an adjacent railroad track and
construction of multiuse trails along the roadway. This is a onetime appropriation.
