A bill for an act
relating to motor vehicles; requiring the Department of Public Safety to conduct
road exams for class D drivers' licenses.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin CLASS D DRIVER'S LICENSE ROAD EXAMS.

new text begin By July 1, 2020, the commissioner of public safety must ensure that road examinations
for class D drivers' licenses are being conducted in a manner that ensures personal protective
measures for applicants and examiners and complies with guidance and recommendations
related to the infectious disease known as COVID-19 provided from the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health.
