relating to transportation; appropriating money for infrastructure improvements
in the city of Madelia.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $10,300,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of Madelia for infrastructure improvements in the
Center Avenue corridor. This project includes the design, construction, and installation of
water, sewer, and storm sewer improvements, including removal and replacement of
infrastructure and the associated reconstruction and renovation of Center Avenue. This is
a onetime appropriation.
