  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; providing a grant to 
  1.3             the Red lake watershed district for flood analysis; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; RED LAKE WATERSHED DISTRICT 
  1.7   GRANT.] 
  1.8      $221,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the Red lake 
  1.10  watershed district to complete the flood analysis of the Red 
  1.11  river between the cities of East Grant Forks and St. Vincent 
  1.12  using the UNET hydraulic model.  The Red lake watershed district 
  1.13  shall seek cooperation from other state and federal agencies and 
  1.14  from local governments in Minnesota and North Dakota.  This 
  1.15  appropriation is available until spent.
