A bill for an act
relating to state government; transferring responsibility for management and
operation of a state facility in Cambridge from the commissioner of human services
to the commissioner of veterans affairs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRANSFER OF STATE FACILITY.

new text begin Responsibility for management and operation of the Minnesota Specialty Health
System-Cambridge campus is hereby transferred from the commissioner of human services
to the commissioner of veterans affairs. Minnesota Statutes, section 15.039, applies to the
transfer of these responsibilities. The commissioner of administration may, with the approval
of the governor, issue reorganization orders under Minnesota Statutes, section 16B.37, as
necessary to complete the transfer.
