A bill for an act
relating to game and fish; requiring carbon monoxide detectors in fish houses and
dark houses; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97C.355, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97C.355, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

A person may not take fish from a
dark house or fish house that is left unattended on the ice overnight unless the shelter has
an operational, approved carbon monoxide alarm, as defined under section 299F.50.
