  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing state 
  1.3             bonds; appropriating money for air conditioning 
  1.4             infrastructure for publicly owned high rise residences 
  1.5             housing low-income elderly and disabled persons. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.9   Minnesota housing finance agency for grants to public housing 
  1.10  authorities for air conditioning infrastructure for publicly 
  1.11  owned high rise residences housing low-income elderly and 
  1.12  disabled persons. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.14     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond 
  1.15  proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of the 
  1.16  governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount 
  1.17  up to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with the 
  1.18  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.19  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.20  4 to 7. 
  1.21     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final 
  1.23  enactment.
