  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH ASSOCIATION 
  1.7   ASSESSMENT OFFSET.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of commerce for a grant to the Minnesota 
  1.10  comprehensive health association to be used to offset the annual 
  1.11  assessment for calendar year 2000 that is required to be paid by 
  1.12  each contributing member pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.13  62E.11.  This appropriation does not become part of the 
  1.14  department of commerce's budget base for the 2001-2003 biennium.
