BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin Any capital improvement to state bond financed property which includes new or
remodeled flooring, must use noncarpet flooring alternatives to protect public health,
as described in the "Green Communities Criteria" prepared by the Minnesota Housing
Finance Agency and available at www.mngreencommunities.org/resources/. For purposes
of this section, "state bond financed property" has the meaning given in section 16A.695,
subdivision 1, paragraph (b).
