  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state government; providing that 
  1.3             appropriations for operation and maintenance of the 
  1.4             governor's mansion will be made through the department 
  1.5             of administration; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.6             section 16B.27, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 16B.27, is 
  1.9   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 6.  [BUDGET.] Any appropriation for the operation and 
  1.11  maintenance of the governor's residence must be included in the 
  1.12  budget of the department of administration.
