  1.6      Section 1.  [465.725] [COMPENSATION; NO LONGEVITY PAY FOR 
  1.7   ELECTED OFFICIALS.] 
  1.8      A statutory or home rule charter city, county, or school 
  1.9   district must not provide an elected official compensation that 
  1.10  is based on the elected official's length of service in office.
