  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to crime prevention; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the construction, administration, and maintenance of a 
  1.4             live fire tactical operations law enforcement training 
  1.5             facility at Camp Ripley. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING FACILITY.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [FACILITY DESCRIBED.] The department of 
  1.9   military affairs shall construct, administer, and maintain a 
  1.10  live fire tactical operations law enforcement training facility 
  1.11  at Camp Ripley.  The facility must be available for civilian law 
  1.12  enforcement training on a fee-for-use basis.  The adjutant 
  1.13  general shall establish the terms and conditions of civilian use 
  1.14  of the facility after consultation with the civilian advisory 
  1.15  committee on Camp Ripley facilities and use and other Minnesota 
  1.16  law enforcement officials and organizations. 
  1.17     Subd. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] $2,000,000 is appropriated from 
  1.18  the general fund to the adjutant general of the department of 
  1.19  military affairs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001, for 
  1.20  the construction of the facility described in subdivision 1.
