A bill for an act
relating to liquor; providing a definition of beer; amending the definition of malt
liquor; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 340A.101, subdivisions 3a,
16, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 340A.101, subdivision 3a, is amended to read:

"Brew pub" is a brewer who also holds one or more retail
on-sale licenses and who manufactures fewer than 3,500 barrels of malt liquor in a year, at
any one licensed premises, the entire production of which is solely for consumption on tap
on any licensed premises owned by the brewer, or for off-sale from those licensed premises
as permitted in section 340A.24, subdivision 2.
