A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money for commuter bus service along
Interstate Highway I-35.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin RUSH LINE CORRIDOR COMMUTER BUS SERVICE.

new text begin $701,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 2009 from the general fund to the
Metropolitan Council for operations and capital costs of providing commuter bus service
along the marked Interstate Highway I-35 corridor, from Lent Township in Chisago
County to the city of St. Paul. Any amount not expended does not cancel but may be
carried forward to fiscal year 2010.
