A bill for an act
 relating to the environment; exempting smaller facilities from requirement to
report greenhouse gas emissions; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section
216H.02, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 216H.02, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A residence or a facility that emits greenhouse gases and
whose area is less than 20,000 square feet is not required to report greenhouse gas
emissions under this section.
