  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a fund transfer for 
  1.3             school districts. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.79 or 
  1.7   123B.80, on June 30, 2003, and June 30, 2004, a school district 
  1.8   may permanently transfer any available amount from its health 
  1.9   and safety reserve fund and its reserved operating capital 
  1.10  account in its general fund to its undesignated fund balance.
