  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transit; appropriating money for express 
  1.3             bus service between downtown Minneapolis and Anoka 
  1.4             county highway No. 22. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; EXPRESS BUS SERVICE.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   metropolitan council for fiscal year 2001 to pay the costs of 
  1.9   providing express bus service from downtown Minneapolis along 
  1.10  marked trunk highway No. 65 (Central Avenue) to its intersection 
  1.11  with Anoka county highway No. 22 and to construct a 
  1.12  park-and-ride lot at or near that intersection.  The service 
  1.13  provided under this section must include a minimum of one bus in 
  1.14  each peak period on each weekday.  This appropriation is added 
  1.15  to the appropriation for fiscal year 2001 in Laws 1999, chapter 
  1.16  238, article 1, section 3.
