A bill for an act
relating to youth development; authorizing municipalities to raise and spend
money on 4-H; requiring a University of Minnesota Extension Service policy;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 38.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin The council of any city and the board of supervisors of any town may incur expenses
and spend money for county extension work, as provided in sections 38.33 to 38.38.

Sec. 2. new text begin EXTENSION POLICY; 4-H FEES.

new text begin The Extension Service of the University of Minnesota shall adopt a policy
authorizing participant fees imposed on a 4-H program in a county to be used for the costs
of providing a 4-H educator in that county.
