  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER; TRUMAN.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.79 or 
  1.8   123B.80, on June 30, 2002, independent school district No. 458, 
  1.9   Truman, may permanently transfer up to $500,000 from its 
  1.10  reserved capital accounts in its general fund to the 
  1.11  undesignated fund balance. 
  1.12     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.13  following final enactment.
