  1.2             relating to veterans; providing a grant for the 
  1.3             national monument to women in the United States 
  1.4             military; appropriating money.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; WOMEN IN MILITARY SERVICE 
  1.7   MEMORIAL.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of veterans affairs for a grant to Women in 
  1.10  Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, Inc., for the 
  1.11  women's memorial at Arlington National Cemetery as a reminder to 
  1.12  the public about the contributions of women in the military 
  1.13  throughout the history of the United States.  This appropriation 
  1.14  is available until June 30, 2001.
