  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to drivers' licenses; requiring commissioner 
  1.3             of public safety to adopt rules requiring education in 
  1.4             organ donation as part of driver education programs; 
  1.5             proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.6             chapter 171.  
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [171.0701] [DRIVER EDUCATION; ORGAN AND TISSUE 
  1.9   DONATION.] 
  1.10     The commissioner shall adopt rules requiring at least 30 
  1.11  minutes of instruction relating to organ and tissue donations 
  1.12  and the provisions of section 171.07, subdivision 5, for persons 
  1.13  enrolled in driver education programs offered at public schools, 
  1.14  private schools, and commercial driver training schools.
