  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             facilities for a domestic abuse intervention program 
  1.4             in northeastern Minnesota. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $250,000 for fiscal year 2001 is appropriated from the 
  1.8   general fund to the commissioner of human services to make a 
  1.9   grant to Minnesota Program Development, Inc. to improve 
  1.10  facilities housing a domestic abuse intervention program for 
  1.11  northeastern Minnesota.  This appropriation is not available 
  1.12  until the commissioner has determined that additional financing 
  1.13  to match the state grant on a one-to-one basis has been 
  1.14  committed from nonstate sources.
