relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a Lifetrack Resources pilot
project in Rochester.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $75,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of employment
and economic development for a grant to Lifetrack Resources for a onetime pilot project
in Rochester focusing on immigrant and refugee collaborative programs, including those
related to job-seeking skills and workplace orientation, intensive job development,
functional work English, and on-site job coaching. The appropriation is available for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2009.
