  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; designating the Richard J. 
  1.3             Mathiowetz Memorial Highway; amending Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 1998, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 161.14, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 45.  [RICHARD J. MATHIOWETZ MEMORIAL HIGHWAY.] Marked 
  1.9   trunk highway No. 4, from its intersection with marked trunk 
  1.10  highway No. 14 in Sleepy Eye to its intersection with Brown 
  1.11  county highway No. 24, is designated the "Richard J. Mathiowetz 
  1.12  Memorial Highway."  The commissioner shall adopt a suitable 
  1.13  marking design to mark this highway and erect appropriate signs, 
  1.14  subject to section 161.139.
