A bill for an act
relating to transportation; requiring a transfer from the general fund for highway
purposes; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin On or before July 31, 2014, the commissioner of
management and budget shall transfer $400,000,000 from the general fund to the highway
user tax distribution fund.

new text begin Appropriations. new text end

new text begin (a) The amount transferred under this section and
allocated to the trunk highway fund is appropriated in fiscal year 2015 to the commissioner
of transportation for state road construction, and is added to the appropriations under Laws
2013, chapter 117, article 1, section 3, subdivision 3, paragraph (c).

new text begin (b) The amount transferred under this section and allocated to the county state-aid
highway fund is appropriated to the commissioner of transportation for the purposes
specified under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 162, and is added to the appropriation
under Laws 2013, chapter 117, article 1, section 3, subdivision 4, paragraph (a). This
appropriation is available until spent.

street fund is appropriated to the commissioner of transportation for the purposes specified
under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 162, and is added to the appropriation under Laws
2013, chapter 117, article 1, section 3, subdivision 4, paragraph (b). This appropriation
is available until spent.
