  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; clarifying language 
  1.3             concerning agricultural fund revolving accounts; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2001 Supplement, section 
  1.5             17.117, subdivision 5a. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2001 Supplement, section 
  1.8   17.117, subdivision 5a, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 5a.  [AGRICULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REVOLVING 
  1.10  ACCOUNTS.] (a) There shall be established in the agricultural 
  1.11  fund revolving accounts to receive appropriations, transfers of 
  1.12  the balances from previous appropriations for the activities 
  1.13  under this section, and money from other sources.  All balances 
  1.14  from previous appropriations for activities under this section 
  1.15  and repayments of loans granted under this section, including 
  1.16  principal and interest, must be deposited into the appropriate 
  1.17  revolving account created in this subdivision or the account 
  1.18  created in subdivision 13.  Interest earned in an account 
  1.19  accrues to that account. 
  1.20     (b) The money in the revolving accounts and the account 
  1.21  created in subdivision 13 is appropriated to the commissioner 
  1.22  for the purposes of this section.
