relating to state government; requiring preference for purchasing from local
growers or distributors when purchasing fresh produce for consumption in state
correctional facilities; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 16C.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

commissioner must give preference to purchasing from growers or distributors located
near that facility.
