  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; clarifying the 
  1.3             purposes of an earlier appropriation; amending Laws 
  1.4             2000, chapter 492, article 1, section 15, subdivision 
  1.5             4, as amended. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 2000, chapter 492, article 1, section 15, 
  1.8   subdivision 4, as amended by Laws 2002, chapter 393, section 80, 
  1.9   is amended to read: 
  1.10  Subd. 4.  Minnesota    
  1.11  Military Museum at Camp Ripley                          125,000
  1.12  To upgrade or newly install the 
  1.13  electrical and lighting, and heating, 
  1.14  ventilation, and air conditioning 
  1.15  systems in the main building of the 
  1.16  Minnesota military museum,; to design, 
  1.17  construct, furnish, and equip, 
  1.18  including permanent display cases and 
  1.19  artifact storage systems, an addition 
  1.20  to the museum, and to insulate a 
  1.21  heating system in building I-40 the 
  1.22  complex of buildings that comprises the 
  1.23  Minnesota Military Museum; and to 
  1.24  conduct a predesign study that 
  1.25  addresses long-term space needs for the 
  1.26  military museum at Camp Ripley.  The 
  1.27  adjutant general may enter into a lease 
  1.28  or management agreement for the museum, 
  1.29  subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.30  16A.695.
