  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to child advocacy centers; providing for 
  1.3             grants; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; CHILD ADVOCACY CENTERS.] 
  1.6      The following amounts are appropriated from the general 
  1.7   fund to the department of children, families, and learning for 
  1.8   grants to fund the child advocacy centers that have been 
  1.9   established on or before July 1, 2001: 
  1.10         $300,000     .....     2002 
  1.11         $300,000     .....     2003 
  1.12     Over the 2002-2003 biennium, this appropriation includes 
  1.13  $250,000 for Midwest Children's Resource Center, $250,000 for 
  1.14  Cornerstone, and $100,000 for First Witness. 
  1.15     Any balance in the first year does not cancel but is 
  1.16  available in the second year.
