  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FISHING SEASON FOR 1999-2000.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 97C.395, 
  1.7   subdivision 1, for the 1999-2000 fishing season, the open 
  1.8   angling season for walleye, sauger, northern pike, muskellunge, 
  1.9   largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass is the Saturday two weeks 
  1.10  prior to the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend 1999 to February 
  1.11  29, 2000. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
