  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; adding environmental 
  1.3             mapping requirements. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [INTEGRATED MAPPING.] 
  1.6      The Environmental Quality Board must ensure that pollution 
  1.7   mapping efforts occurring in state agencies integrate economic 
  1.8   and health data to discern clusters and plumes of pollution in 
  1.9   relation to identified locales.  The board must make the 
  1.10  integrated pollution, economic, and health data available to the 
  1.11  public. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective August 1, 2004.
