  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to alcoholic beverages; authorizing the Quad 
  1.3             Cities Joint Recreational Center Authority to issue a 
  1.4             liquor license. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [QUAD CITIES; LIQUOR LICENSE.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding any other law, the Quad Cities Joint 
  1.8   Recreational Center Authority may issue one on-sale intoxicating 
  1.9   liquor license.  All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 
  1.10  340A, not inconsistent with this section, apply to the license 
  1.11  authorized under this section. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective upon approval by the governing body 
  1.14  of the Quad Cities Joint Recreational Center Authority and 
  1.15  compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
