relating to capital investment; appropriating money to merge the city of South St.
Paul library with the Dakota County library system.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SOUTH ST. PAUL LIBRARY; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $4,700,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for one or more grants to the city of South St.
Paul, Dakota County, or both, for predesign, design, construction of a new library facility
to merge the city library with the county library system.
