A bill for an act
 relating to highways; appropriating money for feasibility study of improvements
along Trunk Highway 5 in Maplewood.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FEASIBILITY STUDY.

new text begin $50,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 2009 from the general fund to the
commissioner of transportation for a feasibility study of congestion, flooding mitigation,
pedestrian safety, traffic safety, and other improvements along marked Trunk Highway 5,
also known as Stillwater Road, in Ramsey County, from the intersection with Lakewood
Drive, and thence extending northeasterly to the intersection with marked Trunk Highway
120, also known as Century Avenue. This is a onetime appropriation, and is available
until expended.
