  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a fund transfer for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 15, St. Francis. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ST. FRANCIS; FUND TRANSFER.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.53, on 
  1.7   June 30, 2000, independent school district No. 15, St. Francis, 
  1.8   may permanently transfer $534,000 from its debt service fund to 
  1.9   the general fund to help the district out of statutory operating 
  1.10  debt. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective June 30, 2000.
