  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Crow Wing County. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; CROW WING COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Crow Wing County may sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general.  
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Crow Wing County and 
  1.16  is described as:  undivided 1/3 interest in the Northwest 
  1.17  Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 8, Township 45 North, 
  1.18  Range 28 West. 
  1.19     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.20  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.21  returned to private ownership.
