  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public and 
  1.3             private sales of certain tax-forfeited lands that 
  1.4             border public water in Isanti county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; ISANTI COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Isanti county may sell the tax-forfeited 
  1.10  land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c), 
  1.11  under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 
  1.12  282. 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Isanti county and is 
  1.16  described as: 
  1.17     Lot 1, Block 1, River Ridge Second Addition (02.065.0020). 
  1.18     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.19  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.20  returned to private ownership. 
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.22  PUBLIC WATER; ISANTI COUNTY.] 
  1.23     (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.24  282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.25  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Isanti county may sell by 
  2.1   private sale the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that 
  2.2   is described in paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of 
  2.3   Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.  
  2.4      (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  2.5   attorney general for the fair market value as determined by the 
  2.6   Isanti county board of commissioners. 
  2.7      (c) The land to be sold is located in Isanti county and is 
  2.8   described as: 
  2.9      (1) Lot A, Block 17, Third Francis Lake Shores 
  2.10  (02.055.1110); 
  2.11     (2) that part of Government Lot 2, Section 21, Township 35, 
  2.12  Range 24 described as follows: 
  2.13     Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence 
  2.14     North along the west line thereof 147.73 feet; thence East 
  2.15     at right angles with the west line of said Government Lot 2 
  2.16     to the shore of Lake Francis; thence southerly along the 
  2.17     shore line of Lake Francis to its intersection with the 
  2.18     south line of Government Lot 2; thence West along the south 
  2.19     line of Government Lot 2 to to the point of beginning and 
  2.20     there to terminate.  Subject to an easement for road 
  2.21     purposes over the West 33 feet thereof (02.021.2100); 
  2.22     (3) Lot 19, Block 1, River Ridge (02.064.0150); 
  2.23     (4) Lot 5, Block 1, River Ridge Second Addition 
  2.24  (02.065.0060); 
  2.25     (5) Lot 6, Block 1, River Ridge Second Addition 
  2.26  (02.065.0070); 
  2.27     (6) Lot 7, Block 1, River Ridge Second Addition 
  2.28  (02.065.0080); 
  2.29     (7) that part of Government Lot 2, Section 21, Township 34, 
  2.30  Range 22, described as follows: 
  2.31     Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section 21; 
  2.32     thence South, along the east line thereof, 1,380 feet; 
  2.33     thence South 66 degrees 26 minutes West for 570 feet; 
  2.34     thence South 5 degrees 4 minutes West for 560 feet; thence 
  2.35     South 50 degrees 35 minutes West for 240 feet; thence South 
  2.36     35 degrees 11 minutes West for 181 feet to the point of 
  3.1      beginning of the tract hereby described; thence South 69 
  3.2      degrees 17 minutes East for 112.48 feet to a point near the 
  3.3      top of the bank adjacent to the shore of Typo Lake; thence 
  3.4      South 35 degrees 11 minutes West, along or near said bank, 
  3.5      for 59 feet; thence North 83 degrees 49 minutes West for 
  3.6      124.4 feet; thence North 35 degrees 11 minutes East for 91 
  3.7      feet to the point of beginning (08.021.1900); 
  3.8      (8) the East half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast 
  3.9   Quarter, Section 10, Township 34, Range 25 (12.010.1900); and 
  3.10     (9) the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 
  3.11  11, Township 34, Range 25 (12.011.1900). 
  3.12     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  3.13  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  3.14  returned to private ownership.
