  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to counties; Itasca and Koochiching; 
  1.3             increasing the per capita spending limit for promotion 
  1.4             of tourist, agricultural, and industrial development; 
  1.5             making a technical correction by restoring legal text 
  1.6             inadvertently made into a headnote in 1975; amending 
  1.7             Laws 1965, chapter 326, section 1, subdivision 5, as 
  1.8             amended; Laws 1967, chapter 170, section 1, 
  1.9             subdivision 5, as amended. 
  1.10  BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.11     Section 1.  Laws 1965, chapter 326, section 1, subdivision 
  1.12  5, as amended by Laws 1975, chapter 110, section 1, Laws 1985, 
  1.13  chapter 87, section 3, and Laws 1998, chapter 389, article 11, 
  1.14  section 11, is amended to read: 
  1.15     Subd. 5.  [PROMOTION OF TOURIST, AGRICULTURAL AND 
  1.16  INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT.] Promotion of tourist, agricultural and 
  1.17  industrial development.  The amount to be spent annually for the 
  1.18  purposes of this subdivision shall not exceed $4 $10 per capita 
  1.19  of the county's population. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  Laws 1967, chapter 170, section 1, subdivision 5, 
  1.21  as amended by Laws 1985, chapter 87, section 6, and Laws 1998, 
  1.22  chapter 389, article 11, section 12, is amended to read: 
  1.23     Subd. 5.  Promotion of tourist, agricultural and industrial 
  1.24  developments.  The amount to be spent annually for the purposes 
  1.25  of this subdivision shall not exceed $4 $10 per capita of the 
  1.26  county's population.
