  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             to renovate and expand the Pine River city library; 
  1.4             authorizing the sale of state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PINE RIVER CITY LIBRARY.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $200,000 is appropriated 
  1.8   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of children, 
  1.9   families, and learning for a grant to the city of Pine River to 
  1.10  renovate and expand the city library building.  This 
  1.11  appropriation is not available until the commissioner has 
  1.12  determined that an equal amount has been committed from nonstate 
  1.13  sources.  
  1.14     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.15  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.16  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.17  to $200,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.18  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.19  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
