 relating to public safety; establishing supplemental funding for youth intervention
program grant recipients; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin YOUTH INTERVENTION PROGRAMS; SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT.

new text begin $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of public safety for youth intervention program grants administered by the Office of Justice
Programs and issued under Minnesota Statutes, section 299A.73. Money appropriated under
this section is available to programs that are currently supported by youth intervention
program grants. This is a onetime appropriation.
