A bill for an act
relating to liquor; permitting certain purchase and use of bulk wine; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 340A.315, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 340A.315, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Farm wineries licensed under this section are permitted to
purchase and use bulk wine, provided the quantity of bulk wine in any farm winery's
annual production shall not exceed ten percent of that winery's annual production. "Bulk
wine," as used in this subdivision, means fermented juice from grapes, other fruit bases,
or honey.
