A bill for an act
relating to prevailing wage; limiting participation to contractors with
apprenticeship programs; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 177.43, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 177.43, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A contract that provides for a project
shall not be awarded to a contractor or subcontractor who has not entered into an
apprentice agreement under chapter 178.

30, 2011.
