A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; designating the stone arch bridge on Old Mill Pond Road
over Chippewa River in Chippewa Falls Township as Sergeant Elmer Brandanger
Bridge; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The stone arch bridge on Old Mill
Pond Road over the Chippewa River in Chippewa Falls Township is designated as "Sergeant
Elmer Brandanger Bridge." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a
suitable design to mark this bridge and erect appropriate signs.
